Seiryu

*"Don't forget to rehydrate!"*Seiryu is the youngest son of the powerful dragon yokais residing on a certain mountain in Japan. The family has since integrated into society and blended with the humans as leaders of society. With their youngest now entering highschool, Seiryu has been kept inside their estate's walls for far too long and the adults have decided it's time for him to get out again to practice living side by side with yokais and humans alike.

Ryūjin

[Yokai description]Ryūjin are powerful dragons who rule over bodies of water and serve as tutelary deities of those places. Ryūjin can refer to any dragon that is worshiped as a local kami, including major dragons such as the hachidai ryūō, Zennyō Ryūō, Kuzuryū, Seiryū, and so on. But when it is used as a proper title (i.e. Ryūjin) it most commonly refers to the dragon god of the sea—Watatsumi in Shintō tradition or Shagara Ryūō in Buddhist tradition. Like other dragons, ryūjin commonly make their homes in caves, rivers, lakes, and the ocean. Landforms inhabited by a local ryūjin usually have shrines dedicated to them somewhere nearby.

Seiryu doesn't like to be in the spotlight. He prefers staying in the background and let other people shine, unless he is required to take the lead he would take on the spot. Staying at the sidelines lets him listen and observe people.

BIOGRAPHY

When Seiryu was born, it was believed that he holds the most power in the Ryuujin family, thus the adults were incredibly careful in raising him. As for the tradition in their family, every children in the family is to be entrusted with a certain jewel. Upon Seiryu's coming of age ceremony, the jewel that was to be Seiryu's was stolen. Being a powerful Ryuujin with nothing to channel all of his power, Seiryu was isolated in the family's estate until they the adults allows him to finally go out. It was in when he stepped in middle school when they allowed him to try to waters and blend in society.He entered a school of humans and there he met a fellow yokai named Yukina and befriended her. One fateful day on a certain festival.. He mindless called on for a drizzle over where the festival was held, just to cool the area because it was summer around that time, but the drizzle became rain and rain became storm. Seiryu had no control over his own power and his parents kept him inside their home yet again. Until he started highschool and was finally allowed to get out again...
